Cheerful and Charming Yellow

Isn't this a charming little figurine? She is all decked out in her Sunday best with her hat and gloves. She is an Avon "Mrs. Albee" award for President's Club members.

It is hard to believe that it was twenty years ago that I was a sales representative (in Canada) for the Avon company. The award was for reps who had sales of at least $10,000 per year (probably a lot higher now). I don't know how I did it - sales are not really my thing.
This glass piece is over a foot tall. Does anyone know what it is intended for - maybe just decorative.

I keep it around because the stem is so beautiful with all the twisted strands inside.

Lots of yellow in this group. The bright yellow teabag is Darjeeling Spring tea from the Stash Tea Company.

These books belong to my grandson. I couldn't resist buying him Tea At the Treedome. There are so many yellow cartoon characters besides SpongeBob. Big Bird and Tweetie come to mind.

This is my America's Sunset Coast book. Yellow and blue is one of my favorite color combinations.

This is a block on the first quilt I ever made. It has yellow sashing between the blocks featuring nine different teapots. The retro fabric prints all seem to have a little yellow in them. I have another tabletop quilt that features French Provencal style fabric in a yellow and blue combination.
I really didn't think that I could find much yellow around the house. Thanks Steph for suggesting this exercise in color. http://stephcupoftea.blogspot.com/

What a lovely tour of yellow goodies!(And I should add that I wish you were still an Avon lady, as I can't seem to keep one.) That stemmed glass is a-ma-zing! I think I would be scared to touch it, though! And do you mind if I ask the name of the pattern on that sweet blue mug atop the yellow book? It is lovely!

I have to agree with Angela, that stemmed glass is A-MA-ZING! I would think if one had a set of those on their table they would be eating a very fancy meal!

Gorgeous, gorgeous! :)

Angela,
The mug is fine bone china "Toile" pattern. It was made in Great Britain for Past Times, Oxford, England. It has a number - 53901.

This is very fun! Thank you for playing along! All cool things, and I must admint, I had NO idea about Sponge Bob and tea, but you can bet I'll be looking that up!

Oh, I just love the figurine and the glass is just gorgeous! And why didn't I think of Sponge Bob? One of the grand daughter's favorites and we have a stuffed one around here somewhere.
