Victoria’s Secret china

I’d planned to join Teacup Tuesday with a post first thing this morning, but we had quite a storm last night and the internet was knocked out till late afternoon.

This week I’m showing another pretty cup and saucer that I picked up at a recent yard sale.

I’ve not been able to find any information on this particular teacup.  I did learn that Royal Stafford made china for Victoria’s Secret, but this cup is just marked Made in England for Victoria’s Secret.

It has a very pretty floral pattern with pink roses, and also some dainty blue and white flowers.  The handle is comfortable to hold and the cup is a generous size.

Does anyone know if Victoria’s Secret still sells fine china or when the teacups were sold?

Please join Terri and Martha for more of Teacup Tuesday.

I had no idea Victoria's Secret had china. I wonder if it was a gift with purchase type thing. Maybe email Replacements Ltd.

I didn't know that V.S. ever sold china! But your cup is a fabulous find! It is gorgeous, all the vibrant beautiful flowers adorning the cup.
Hugs,
Terri

Amazing...I didn't know VS carried china either, and so pretty. But...that's nor a Royal Stafford mark I know, but Royal Stafford (an amalgamation of Thos Poole & Gladstone China from the 1960s was merged with Lifestyles & still is making china in Burslem, Staffordshire so I think your cup and saucer dates to 2007 or after...sounds like what they are doing now. They are one of the only working potteries in England at the moment.

What a lovely cup and saucer! I think I'm going to have to start going to yard sales again...

Well my goodness! I read the headline on this post and thought "Seriously???" And yes, you are serious! This is a lovely cup and saucer! I do remember when, back in the eighties, VS had a reputation for fine "intimate ware" and even sold classical music CD's and a gardening book (which I had at one time). If you look in old issues of Victoria magazine, the Victoria's Secret ads were elegant and classic and verrrrry British looking!

I'm stunned too! Of course I'd have to actually go into a V.S. store. As far as I know there isn't one here in central Alberta.

Another fantastic find!

I have looked every once in a while on the web for information on this Tea Set. This is the the first time I found anything!!! I have this set and bought it piece by piece at the store around 20 years ago. Unfortunately my dad broke one of the cups so now I have the Tea Pot, 4 saucers and 3 cups. Sooo, does anyone have any info on where I can buy a replacement cup, besides a lucky find at a yard sale?
