My Tea Tree Treat

Today, I treated myself to my first new tea tree ornament of 2009.

PB050983 I have always liked Wedgwood jasperware, but didn’t think that it would ever be affordable.

PB050984This miniature teacup is perfect for my tabletop Christmas tea tree.

PB050987This ornament was the last one on the shelf at my local Tuesday Morning store.  I’m looking forward to putting up my tree and unpacking all my treasured miniature cups, teapots, spoons, trays, etc.

Meanwhile, I’d better get back to preparations for the workshop and the tea table that I’m doing at our church Holiday Hearts and Homes event.  The holiday busyness has started already.

I love it! Now you have tempted me to check my Tuesday Morning shop. Yes, the busyness has started. I will be glad when my holiday sale is over this next weekend, then I can focus on some fun things.

Oh, I love this sweet little cup! I have a Tea-Tree too! I am going to check my Tuesday Morning to see if they have any of these tiny little treasures on the shelves. Thanks for sharing!

Oh, how pretty! I want to try to find one, I also have a Tea Time Tree with miniature tea ornaments on it! I saw some Wedgewood at TJ Maxx, but didn't look closely, now I wonder if they had this. I'll also look at Tuesday Morning, next time I go there, it's 30 minutes from here.

Hm. I never though of that before. Tea-themed Christmas ornaments. That can go with the gift of tea, too, since an attractive box of tea is sure to please many people.

Oh, I found this very ornament on eBay just this morning but it was a bit expensive! I need to check out the PTC Tuesday Morning store!

I love your little cup ornament! I was so excited when I went into Marshalls yesterday and saw what looked like a whole stack of these... turned out to be plane ole round bulbs...grumble, grumble... Still very pretty but darn it I wanted a tea cup.
Thanks for sharing!

After reading this post, like Lisa, I checked out every pile of blue boxes I saw at T.J. Maxx, Homegoods and Marshalls. Then today at lunch, I went to the PTC Tuesday Morning and, like you, got the very last teacup ornament! Thanks SO MUCH for the heads up; I wanted one of these but would never have paid full price!
