It’s hard to believe that the week is slipping away so quickly and that I’m late for Tea Cup Tuesday. Today I’m showing you a tea set that my sister-in-law gave me. It has it’s own metal holder, which makes it easy to carry it to the table or back to storage.
I don’t know how long she owned this set, or when it was made.
It is very dark and dull here this morning, hence the photos are not great.
There is quite a lot of color in this set.
It is from the Czech Republic. It says Thun - Karlovarsk Porcelan – Original Kobalt.

Wish I had a SIL who would give me such a beautiful set!!!!!!! Lovely. I didn't do a Tuesday Tea post this week. Just got completely away from me. Love the cross stitch your hubby did.
Wow, I think your tea set is beautiful! I do believe I had a set very similar about 25 years ago and now I am wondering what happened to it!
Your set is just perfect for autumn. All those jewel tones, so bright and fun.
Thank you for sharing this set with us today.
Hugs,
Terri

Such a beautiful set. Very elegant. Before I read the bottom of your lovely post, I was guessing it was a Russian tea set. Well, I was close. ;)
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

Well at least you got a Teacup Tuesday post up this week...I didn't.
I think your tea set is beautiful. What a great gift from SIL. I especially like that it has its own caddy for carrying.

Absolutely stunning set. Love the colors and the caddy makes having a tea party so much easier.
I love this set! So unusual, and the holder is quite unique. Terrific!
Very, very pretty. I must say that I love the dark colors. They are much more to my taste that the normal pastels found on so many cups!
