Queen Anne teacup

P7223021

The teacup for this week is Queen Anne bone china, made in England.  I couldn’t discover a name for this pattern, but I believe it is #374.

P7222973

It has a gold wheat and floral spray pattern.

  P7222974

The footed cup has a lovely scalloped shape, with a spray of wheat and flowers inside.

P7222975

The cup is an unusual color, somewhere between pale pink and beige.

P7222977

Queen Anne china was made by Shore & Coggins Ltd. in Longton, England from the 1940’s until 1966.

Please visit hostesses Terri and Martha for lots more Teacup Tuesday posts.

Beautiful! Stunning! I adore the coloring too, and all that luscious gold trim. They did not skimp on design with this cup, it has all the bells and whistles and looks so grand with the fancy shape. What a wonderful cup to have in your collection!

Terri

Very pretty! I am guessing this is still from your sister-in-law's collection. She does like metallic cups and saucers. They just shine.

The decoration is just so exquisite...and it's always nice to see the design transferred to the inside of the cup as well!

Hi: I love the cup. It is stunning. You rarely see light brown cups and this one is amazing. I am so glad you shared it with us. I am going to look for it on Ebay. Blessings, Martha

Oh my, such a beautiful teacup! The colour is fabulous and the shape divine. Actually, the colour is close to the shade on my living room walls; scrumptious! Thanks for sharing and for your visit. Have a lovely day.
