This pretty Royal Albert “Canada From Sea To Sea” pattern teacup was purchased on my recent trip to Canada.
I found it at the Care & Share Thrift Shop near my brothers home in Stouffville, ON. They had an abundance of beautiful cups and it was difficult to choose just one, but I was running out of space in my carry on bag.
The pattern includes maple leaves in green and raspberry with a Canadian flag on the cup.
The cup is in the pretty Montrose shape, with a lovely feathery scroll handle. Both pieces have 22k gold trim.
This is the second cup in my collection with a Canadian theme. I also have a Windsor teacup in the Royal Canadian Tartan pattern.
It’s been a while since I’ve participated in Teacup Tuesday and I’m happy to have some new cups to show you. Be sure to see all the gorgeous cups at both Terri and Martha's beautiful blogs.
So beautiful and unique. I've never seen the "Canadian" collection of this line. So pretty.

What a lovely teacup, so pretty. The biscotti looks yummy also.
ReplyDeleteThe perfect souvenir of your trip, and with the maple leaves it also readies you for tea sipping this fall!
ReplyDeleteWonderful Canadian cup! I love the colors. Do you find many tea cups in thrift stores or antique stores there?
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Terri
That was the only thrift store I visited on this trip and they had an abundance of teacups. A couple of antique stores had a good selection too - much better than where I live in GA. :-)
DeleteWhat a beautiful tea cup and saucer! Such a lovely souvenir of your trip with the Canadian flag and maple leaves.
ReplyDeleteGreat trip! We visit family in Canada when we can, but my tea cup collection from the great white north came from some Michigan antique shops (Paragon - featuring the famous Hamilton Rock Gardens). Love "international" tea cups.
ReplyDeleteYour brother's lake retreat is beautiful!! Inspiring for sure!
This is a very pretty teacup and perfect for you!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love your gorgeous leafy Canada cup! I'll have to see what I can do about starting a Canada teacup collection, too. (I lived there for several years as a little girl.)
ReplyDeleteGreat cup and saucer!
