I like to save tea bag wrappers for craft projects. You never know when these small pieces of paper will come in handy. This morning I needed a thank you card in a hurry, so I grabbed my bag of wrappers and five minutes later I had a little card.
My friend Angela at Tea With Friends, has made some fabulous things using tea bag wrappers, including a covered clip board, flowers and a wonderful teatime wall hanging that was published in Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine.
So don’t just toss those wrappers, get creative with them.
What a great idea! You have my mind already running with an idea. I just took a class on copper foil and glass, wouldn't that be fun to do with a teabag inside to hang on the tea Christmas tree? Fun!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful, creative use of teabag wrappers! I drink tons of tea, and this will be a great idea for using them...and to impress my tea friends! Thank you, take care, and have a wonderful day!

Oh, how cute. I never think to save them. Really with all the junk for crafting I have piled everywhere that I NEVER get to, I think I will pass on it anyway. LOL!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your card! Very elegant, and the "frames" really set off the teabag designs. Thanks for inspiring me!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely card and a great idea! Thank you.
